Hello! I’m Colleen Harshbarger, MS, CPQC
My mission is to inspire women to claim their power, and to heal our world. I am especially enthusiastic about guiding women who work in healthcare to balance their passion, purpose, and self-care.
My vision is to redefine health and well-being, and to support providers as exemplars to lead the way to change. Imagine a world where those serving others were themselves well rested, well nourished, and most effective in their work from a place of ease and flow. I know this is attainable—I know that women working in our healthcare systems will be the catalysts that bring about this transformation.
My background includes over 30 years of experience as a wellness professional and helping people optimize their performance and potential. I have established comprehensive wellness programs at Reebok International, the National Institute for Occupational Safety & Health, and West Virginia University. I am a National Board-Certified Health & Wellness Coach, a Certified Positive Intelligence Coach, and serve as the Director of the Wellness Inventory Certification Training for international health and wellness coaches. I am also an experienced registered yoga instructor and certified education provider with Yoga Alliance (ERYT-500, YACEP).
My coaching approach unifies evidence-based strategies in my areas of expertise: yoga, mindfulness, exercise science, and whole-person wellbeing.
I utilize both the Wellness Inventory model and the Positive Intelligence program to help clients achieve vibrant well-being. Whether your personal journey begins with mental fitness, physical fitness, emotional wellbeing, or enhanced spiritual connection, I look forward to our partnership on bringing about your best self.
Mental Fitness is your capacity to respond to life’s challenges with a positive (rather than a negative) mindset. This is the foundation of the Positive Intelligence® (PQ) program, based on the work of Shirzad Chamine. The impact of this program is improved peak performance, better peace of mind and wellness, and healthier relationships. Because we know that lasting change requires 20% inspiration and 80% mental muscle, we begin this work with an intense initial daily 15-minute practice for 6–8 weeks. Results are nothing short of transformative!

Wellness Inventory
I will guide you through this comprehensive personal development model, which includes continual self-management tools, to improve and sustain your wellbeing. This approach includes access to a dynamic online platform designed to deepen your understanding of your behaviors and motivations across 12 dimensions of wellbeing. Tools help with developing action steps, tracking progress, and assessing personal health status over time. As a result, clients manage their progress and make better — more empowered — choices that improve specific aspects of their quality of life.
